Window cleaners on a skyscraper in Shinjuku, Tokyo

Must be the climber in me, but I just love taking pictures of these window cleaners. Reminds me of the days when I used to cling to vertical rock and ice faces in high places. Indeed on a cold December day, when the sun is brightly caught in the almost glacial faces of skyscraper glass, Shinjuku can feel almost alpine.

Off to the UK on Monday, will try and post from there if I get any photography done. meanwhile, packing and a link to more images of rope access window cleaners and structural engineers.
