End of the Line

Typhoon 15 hit yesterday evening leaving me stuck in Hon Atsugi until after 11pm, with only a compact camera for company. Hence the graininess of this image of an Odaku company employee smiling his way through the crowd control of thousands of similarly stranded passengers. The sign he’s holding tells people where the line for the Ebina bus ends.

Power outages in Kanagawa meant the trains stopped, the buses were crowded and though the typhoon had actually moved on by the time I took this shot, its effects are still being felt and seen in the city this morning. A mad, bad, windy day.

Off to other work, see you later.
