She Sells Seashells… for Valentine’s

Spent yesterday shooting chocolates and making Point Of Sale (POS) and advertising sheets, flyers etc. for the patisserie which I live above.

Yes I know most people’s idea of heaven would be to live above a patisserie I’m sure, but I actually worked quite hard as we had to quickly get the shots sorted (each and every tiny chocolate) before customers came and then I had to wait while my wife labouriously wrote the Japanese for the POS. Of course life is not simple in multilingual world and I couldn’t put the Japanese script on my English Photoshop so she had to write it all in Microsoft Word and then I had to scan it; drag it across to the Photoshop document with the pictures; position it next to the right one (again had to wait for wifey to be free to do this as I had no idea which was which) and resize it arrange and format and yadda yadda yadda.

Didn’t feel much like Valentine’s Day for me.

Tired so talk later after I have eaten some of this stuff I worked so hard on yesterday because in Japan, unlike in the UK, Valentines’s Day is for men to get the presents.

Happy Valentine’s Day
