Bowled Over

Not not by the cricket. Couldn’t care less about that really! But saw an article in the South China Morning Post the other week about that quintessential British icon of sartorial elegance, the bowler hat, now being made in China. Can’t link the article as I was lucky enough to get my hands on a real life newspaper, with lots of words and pictures in the long, well written articles and even printed on paper and everything.

Anyway, where was I? The online edition of the SCMP is subscription only so you’ll have to make do with this rather more morbidly jingoistic article from the Express here.

Apparently British people are wearing Bowler hats again. The only ones I’ve seen however are on some of the Cos-play girls at Harajuku, like above.
