All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go

Fantastic, hang him with his own invectives, profile of a very silly but quite scary man by the ever interesting David McNeill over at the Japan Times.

I have to thank David for giving a name to a face I have photographed numerous times like the one above at Yasukuni Shrine last year. His name is Makoto Sakurai and I can add nothing that is not in the linked article above.  Please read it.

  1. What a horrible nasty racist git, luckily his followers only number 8000, but it seems that of late a lot of people are echoing his feelings. Lately I’ve seen a few TV shows outlining how Japan apparently civilised Korea, have them money to rebuild the country after the war and the only reason Korean Electronics now outsell the likes of Sony is because Koreans have bribed the best workers in Japanese to sell their company secrets and then Korea produces cheap inferior versions which sell well in China as the people there don’t care about quality! WTF, this is mainstream TV spouting this nonsense. I just hope not too many people are buying into it.
