On a Wave

Thank god the elections are over, the streets are quieter at last! Though democracy is a good thing generally it can be really noisy in Japan.  I did get to photograph, Mizuho Fukushima, the Minister of State for Consumer Affairs and Food Safety, Social Affairs, and Gender Equality and also the leader of the Social Democratic Party of Japan (SDP), which is a junior partner in the DPJ (Democratic Party of Japan) led government when she stopped by my local city to lend her not inconsiderable charisma to the local hopeful’s campaign. That’s her in the orange above with some other shots from from other parties at the local shout-off…(ahem)…I mean electioneering meet.
