Have to wait

The image above is familiar, I`m sure, to anyone who has a Canon camera and had needed to go to the Canon office in Shinjuku and get it fixed. Seems my main lens has a few problems and I need to wait about a week to get it fixed. Luckily I have another lens!

More later.

How is your new temporary lens? This pic reminds me of a sculpture by Richerd Serra. (http://www.gothamgal.com/gotham_gal/images/2007/06/15/serra.jpg)
I’ll come back to Japan in the middle of September. Hope to see you soon.

  3. Hi Tomo San! Good to hear from you, and good to hear you`ll be visiting, hope we can catch up for a quick snifty at the local in Machida. How`s Blighty treating you? You sorted with the nuts and bolt of living it large in the smoke. Or are you getting out and about around my little mud island for some grassroots, crusty cultural bottoming?
You`ve been there long enough now to understand what it is I just said above and if not I`ll tell you over that beer.

Nick I mostly use a 24-105 L lens but it has certain problems with bendy horizons and such like sometimes. Overall though it`s good enough and affordable. I want better, faster glass, I use a 17mm too which is about 25 on my 40D and will be fully wide when I get the second body i want, sometime in the distant future.
Of course being a black and gold man yourself you have no idea what i`m talking about!!! 🙂

    Take care and talk soon.
