The thrill of being three


November is Shichi-go-san or the festival of 7-5-3 when kids of those ages (girls 3 and 7 and boys only 5!) celebrate by dressing up in traditional kimono and visit a shrine to get blessed. I needed some 7-5-3 pics for a stock request but unluckily (in part due to the weather among other things) missed the deadline on that one. I did head out Saturday to Meiji Shrine in Harajuku to take some pics of the kids all dressed and enjoying themselves though.
