Easter

Semana Santa

Just remembered it`s Easter. Easy thing to forget here as it`s not celebrated. Christmas, Valentine`s, St. Patrick`s and even carnival yes, but not Easter. Interestingly Japan`s foundation day on February 11th is not celebrated either.

Anyway I`m not a big fan of chocolate eggs and seasonally employed bunnies or Jesus for that matter so it means little to me but for those that like some or all of those things… “Happy Easter!”

The photo above is from an Easter fiesta in Bilbao in Spain where they celebrate properly by parading through the streets wearing these Klu Klux Klan outfits. I don`t understand it but it looks good in pictures.

  1. It’s an easy thing to forget isn’t it? Wouldn’t mind a certain makers chocolate egg with buttons though.

    The photo looks magical.

  2. Thanks Nick. Yes those button eggs are rather natsukashi. Not sure on the Romaji for that. You`ll know!
Still trying to work on a humourous comment for your hilarious photo. Everybody please go and look at Nick`s photo of the scooter and say something appropriately funny!
