Hanzomon Station 

Off to a little photo job in Shibuya just now. Shibuya is the iconic side of Tokyo: people, building sized televisions and…well…more people.

But there is something quintessentially Japanese everywhere I look these days and I`m really beginning to notice it afresh now that I`m leaving. In this photo, for example, the face mask on the woman is as representative of Japanese culture as the kabuki mosaic on the wall., if not more so! Of course that piece of corporate art says a lot too but it made a nice piccy so here you are…
